喝茶後頭暈、心跳加速?「茶醉」的成因及5招預防方法

什麼是茶醉? 

 

茶葉含有的茶鹼和咖啡因都屬於中樞神經興奮劑,當喝了過量或過濃的茶時,大量的茶鹼和咖啡因會破壞體內電解質的平衡,並刺激中樞神經系統而引起「茶醉」。1-3 

 

茶醉的症狀包括:心跳加速、頭暈、頭痛、緊張、煩躁、失眠、手腳無力或刺痛,嚴重時更可引發心律不正、抽搐及癲癇發作需要立即送院救治4,5
 

預防或改善茶醉的方法6

  1. 不要空腹喝茶以免刺激胃酸大量分泌茶中的咖啡因也會更容易被身體吸收 
  2. 避免喝太濃的茶,特別是平日很少喝茶的人士應該喝較清淡的茶 
  3. 不要短時間內喝大量的茶 
  4. 不要喝新茶(採摘下來不足一個月的茶葉),因為其咖啡因和茶鹼濃度會較高更容易引起茶醉 
  5. 若出現茶醉可吃一些高糖分食物或肉類,以紓緩症狀
